Actually you do some great work, DJ. I read your Demmer stuff with interest and forwarded it out to other parties. As a rule, I make sure to check in here at least every few days.

I hope that you can spread your skills out to the rest of MN as well. It would seem such a waste of talent to be so focused on a primary in the 1st, when John John is sitting pretty in the 5th.

I didn’t give Davis a “hard time” for getting support from outside the district. I gave him a “hard time” for having a small amount of donations from inside the district relative to his total donations.

By your logic is it then hypocritical for bloggers outside the First to criticize Tim Walz? Maybe all DFLers in the state outside of the Sixth should keep their mouths shut about the horror that is Rep. Michele Bachmann?

Can you point out Walz not having support from the DFL base within the district? His last FEC report seemed to show solid support from within the First. So what if he has support from outside of it, too? With all due respect, who died and made you the speech police?

Long story short, to answer your question: no.

By the way, not like it matters, but I didn’t “just” out myself; I made it clear I moved back to the metro area following my graduation from WSU in May.

So Ian, erm… DJ, right right. Just a quick question:

Isn’t it a little bit hypocritical to give Davis a hard time about his colleagues from outside of the 1st district giving him the sweet money for the running, while both of the only two bloggers who still support Walz, just outed themselves as not actually being in the 1st district?

Just trying to keep things straight.
